Meet Deborah Green, a dedicated professional with over three decades of unwavering commitment to law enforcement. Her journey began in 1986 when she served as a Military Police Officer with the California National Guard, where she developed a strong sense of duty and discipline.

In 1992, Deborah transitioned to a role as a Dispatcher with the Sacramento Police Department, demonstrating her exceptional ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, vital qualities in emergency response services.

Continuing her career in the pursuit of public safety, Deborah joined the El Dorado County Sheriff's Department in 1994 as a Dispatcher, where she diligently served her community for an impressive 27 years. Her role there involved coordinating critical responses, demonstrating her dedication to protecting and serving her community.

Deborah's commitment to her profession and her community was unwavering, but the toll of years of exposure to the challenges of law enforcement took its toll. In 2020, she was diagnosed with PTSD/cPTSD, a recognition of the sacrifices she made during her long and storied career.

After a remarkable career spanning more than three decades, Deborah retired from law enforcement in June 2021. Her retirement marked the end of an era, but her legacy of service, resilience, and dedication will continue to inspire all who know her. Deborah Green is not just a retired law enforcement professional; she is a symbol of strength and unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of her community.
